The day you arrived — we keep the date, never the year.

The short version

We store your Discord ID, your birthday (month and day only — never your age or year of birth), your timezone, and the wishes written in your server. There are no ads, no trackers, no analytics, and nothing is ever sold. Everything can be deleted with !myday delete.

What we collect

• Your Discord identity — user ID, username, display name, and avatar, received when you authorize the activity (scopes: identify, guilds, applications.commands).
• Your birthday — the month and day you choose to save. We never ask for or store the year.
• Your timezone — an IANA zone (for example Asia/Kolkata) or a fixed offset (+05:30), so your day rolls over at the right moment for you.
• Wishes — the text you write, the wishes written for you, and the server they belong to.
• Server IDs — the Discord servers where the bot or activity is installed.
• Access token — a short-lived OAuth token kept only in your browser's storage so reopening the activity does not prompt you again. It is stored locally and can be cleared by clearing your browser data.

How we use it

Only to run the product: announcing birthdays at the right midnight, opening a wish thread, delivering the words written for you, and showing the daily page. Nothing else — we do not profile, advertise, or sell.

Who can see it

Other members of your server see your birthday when it arrives and the wishes posted there — that is the point of the product. Server administrators can see the data stored for their server. We, the operators, access the database only for maintenance and support.

Sharing

The only third party involved is Discord — for signing you in and delivering messages. We add no other services, SDKs, trackers, or pixels. See Discord's Privacy Policy.

Retention and deletion

• !myday delete (message command, or /myday delete) erases your birthday, every wish written for you, and every wish you wrote — permanently, in that server.
• Uninstalling the app or clearing your browser storage removes your stored access token.
• You may ask us in the support server for a full erase of any remaining record.
• If the project ever shuts down, the database is deleted with it.

Security

Data lives in a SQLite database on the single host running the service, with access limited to the operators. No system is perfectly secure; we keep the surface as small as possible.

Children

You must meet Discord's minimum age (13+, or higher where you live) to use this service. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
